QUADRI ANTICHI MODERNI E CONTEMPORANEI
The painting of Adolfo Mastrovito, a painter from Puglia (IT) who died in 2000, can be defined as an expressionism based on colors, where he manages to reduce reality to the essential, enhancing its brilliant colors.
Oil painting on canvas, presumably belonging to the period around 1980, depicts a vase with orange, dark red and yellow flowers, resting on a white table with an ocher background. The warm tones of the pictorial ensemble give the painting charm and magic. Very good state of conservation.
