The painting of Adolfo Mastrovito, a painter from Puglia (IT) who died in 2000, can be defined as an expressionism based on colors, where he manages to reduce reality to the essential, enhancing its brilliant colors.
Oil on canvas, dating back to the last decades of the twentieth century, depicts four people sitting on the shore of a lake intent on fishing. On the other side there are several low houses, which make the landscape suggestive and captivating. Excellent state of conservation.
