Paintings and vintage - no Auction commission
The painting of Adolfo Mastrovito, a painter from Puglia (IT) who died in 2000, can be defined as an expressionism based on colors, where he manages to reduce reality to the essential, enhancing its brilliant colors.
Oil on canvas, dating back to around 1980, depicts a road, with no driveway, in a context that looks like a mountain village. The warm tones and bright colors typical of his painting are present, attracting and projecting the observer’s imagination far away. Very good state of conservation.
